The Detroit Pistons announced today they have partnered with platform provider Rival to establish a new esports gaming community for Pistons fans tabbed “Motor City Rivals”.
“We are excited to work with Rival in creating our "Motor City Rivals" esports gaming community”, said Mike Zavodsky, Chief Business Officer of the Detroit Pistons.
Gaming platform development company Rival is in the news today with a new executive hire plus a client announcement with the NBA’s Pistons.
The AAU partners with Rival to kick start the AAU Esports program. The AAU broke into the esports gaming ring last year, when it announced esports as the newest addition to its 41 sports.
