LIVERPOOL F.C. LAUNCHES LFC GAMING WITH RIVAL

Fan Engagement Platform to Power the Club’s Online Gaming Community

NEW YORK (May 11, 2022) Liverpool Football Club has launched its gaming community, “LFC Gaming” with fan engagement platform provider Rival. As one of the world’s most iconic sports properties, Liverpool F.C. will offer its thriving global fan base opportunities to engage, compete and connect on the Rival gaming platform.

LFC Gaming builds on the club’s recently renewed partnership with EA Sports and offers programming across several game titles. The club anticipates offering weekly opportunities that will integrate with and complement the club’s additional fan engagement and rewards initiatives.

LFC Gaming is now live and Liverpool fans can join the gaming community and register for upcoming tournaments at www.rivalgames.com/liverpoolfc.

“Rival is thrilled for the opportunity to work with one of the world’s most decorated football clubs and together, create innovative experiences for its global community of fans,” said Rival CEO Matt Virtue. “Given LFC’s uniquely passionate following, we see unlimited possibilities to augment Liverpool’s online engagement and growth opportunities through gaming and esports.”

Powering more than 35 clients across sports properties, media and technology organizations and brands, Liverpool F.C. is Rival’s seventh partnership with an English football club.
